Back to Blogging

We have been without a camera for awhile. A blog without pictures is hardly a blog at all. So I bought a Kodak yesterday and we are back in the blog business.

Unfortunately, there were several Kodak moments this weekend before I made the trek to WalMart. Friday night, Andrew's family, Beth and her kids, and Al were all here for the first cookout of the year. It was fun having everyone here. and it was good to taste grilled meat again.

Saturday noon, Susan, her sisters Jean and Cindy, and Sabrina and Beth took Gramma LaJoice to Elizabeth's Chop House to celebrate her 82nd birthday. They had a very elegant time.

Grandpa Jerry is scheduled to have his pacemaker replaced Tuesday. He will be training for a marathon next week.

While the ladies were dining in luxury, Andrew, Austyn, and I walked Buddy and Buster along the Dead River. The dogs had a great romp. Buddy did a bit of damage to Andrew's finger when he bit at a stick that Andrew was still holding, but no lasting damage.

Susan, Austyn, and I attended a graduation reception for Al's good friend Jake Blotter who finished the electric linesman course through Northern Michigan. Al was at work and Andrew and Sabrina had a date night at Pizza Hut and the movies.

We don't go all out with flower gardening, but you can't say we totally ignore it as this solitary daffodil proves.
