Minnetonka

A treat at the Baraga Drive Inn on the drive home.
Brockway Mountain Lookout with Copper Harbor and Fanny Hooe Lake (right, Lake Superior to the left) in the background.
While the racers were doing their things, Susan and I had the strenous activity....keeping an eye on Ben. The kids enjoyed the park in the ideal weather. James Johnson and Preston Freir play a variation of volleyball.

Ethan, Stuart, Beth, and Rachel were in the Copperman Triathelon in Copper Harbor at the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. There were a couple of other church families in the event. All endured to the end.
We went up on a Friday afternoon and stayed at Minnetonka Resort overnight. Minnetonka is pet friendly, so Buddy went with us. There were two bedrooms, a bath, and a small kitchen/dining room in the cottage where Angela's family and we stayed. There is no cell phone coverage in Copper Harbor so it was like stepping back in time, just a few years, but eons technologically.
The weather and scenery in Copper Harbor were beautiful.
