Descendants of Dewey and Louise Remus Putnam gathered at McClintock Park in Laingburg in the 90th anniversary year of their marriage. Lots of cute little girls and active boys, like previous generations....only more all the time.I remember Harry and I talking to Grandpa Dewey at their 50th anniversary party. Grandpa was being reflective and stated, "None of my kids ever went hungry." That comment summarized the challenges of raising a famiy in his generation. He would be happy to know his posterity is doing very well from that perspective judging by the picnic.
It was good seeing everyone again.
