I didn't think we would have another beautiful Saturday in October, but we were blessed yesterday morning. Buddy and I took a 2 1/2 hour hike.

The overlook of Harlow Lake.

We started at the Little Presque Isle parking lot and hiked the Superior shoreline to Wetmore Landing, then crossed County Road 550 and picked up the trail marked in red. At the north end of Harlow Lake, we took the trail along Harlow Creek, crossed 550 again and returned to the parking lot.

My faithful hiking companion, Buddy.

I call this little Pictured Rocks, Munising's sandstone cliffs in miniture.
