We are in Clio for a long weekend. Saturday morning, we had grandparent time and went to the local fire safety demonstration at the Fire Station. Then we went to a local park with a stream winding through it and walked home along a bike path that goes to the back of the apartments where they live.
Susan and I went to a retirement party in Kalamazoo for Ed Smietana who was my area director in the evening. We saw a lot of old Scouting friends.
We attended church in Flint this morning, then Ethan and I went sailing with Lisle and a friend in Saginaw Bay. The weather was ideal. It was a great time.
I go back to Marquette tomorrow. Susan will stay here a couple of days and come to Marquette with Angela and the kids while Ethan confronts mid term exams.
