We had a beautiful spring weekend...warm enough to get out and enjoy the outdoors and before the bugs are out. Buddy and I did a lot of Scouting yesterday (see my UP Scouting blog). This afternoon, we went out to Wetmore Landing. I was tired and lazy and mainly sat on a rock while Buddy scampered around. He is pictured with Little Presque Isle in the background. I thought that this stunted pine that survived the winter on a rocky point in Lake Superior deserved a picture for perserverence.
