A beautiful 4th of July

We were blessed with ideal weather for the 4th of July after a very cool and rainy week. I attended the Veterans' Memorial rededication which we hold every year as new bricks with veterans names are added to the display.

In the afternoon, I was in the parade with the Scouts. It was not as big an event as last year when the WWII veterans were honored.

Next year is the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War.
