A Blooming Nice Mother's Day

We had a nice Mother's Day...a very good program at church including the traditional Primary Children singing under Susan's direction.
We had the family over for supper. Grandpa Jerry wasn't feeling well and bowed out. Andrew, Sabrina, and Austyn were here but avoided the camera. Beth's family came over a bit later, but still in time for the strawberries on angelfood cake.
Flowers were the preferred present this year. Fuscia from Andrew and Sabrina, cut flowers from church and our garden, a rose from me, and mums from Beth and family.
We introduced Gramma Ginny to skyping with Angela's family. That was exciting for all concerned.
Bad news from Jared...he had jumped into a swimming pool that was too shallow and shattered his heel. No word on what the treatment will be.
Christie called with Mother's Day wishes.
