Boy Scout Centennial Celebration

Our Council's Centennial Celebration was this weekend. More pictures are on my Scouting Blog, but these have family significance. Susan and Beth were there with the Church pack whick consisted of James, Austyn, and one other Cub. They did a lot besides eat, but that's what they were doing when I caught up with them. The picnic shot is at Mattson Park and the pasty dinner was in Lakeview Arena.
We had reenactors along the hiking trails for the Boy Scout activity. A man named Bart King was one of the original Boy Scouts and died in WWI of pneumonia. After that war, the Scouts built a monument to him on top of Sugarloaf Mountain. So Scout Jordan Smith portrayed Bark King wearing Harry O Jones' WWI uniform.
It was a great weekend with ideal weather and a great time.
