June 30th was our 29th Anniversary. We spend a night at the Depot Motel in Big Bay about 25 miles north of Marquette. It is a converted railroad depot. The motel is on Lake Independence and within 3 miles of Lake Superior. We had a nice relaxing time. Beth and her kids and Angela and Anna came up for a hot dog roast Friday evening. We just lounged around and lay on the beach Saturday until we came back to Marquette in the afternoon.
