Happy Mother's Day

Susan had an enjoyable Mother's Day weekend. On Saturday, we got together at the pavillion at Presque Isle for a picnic with the LaJoices. Susan's folks, her sister Jean, Sister Cindy from Midland, Brother Steve, two of his daughters and boyfriends plus grandson Eli, Brother Joe, Angela and Ethan and kids, and us were there. The weather was great if you were sitting in the sun.
Sunday, Ethan and Angela both spoke in Sacrament Meeting on motherhood and cited Susan as a exemplary mother.
For Sunday dinner, we had Beth and Stuart and family, Alex,
Angela and Ethan and family, Ethan's dad and tw0 sisters who are still in Marquette (his mom is in Utah with this oldest sister and her newborn) and us. Andrew was working.
In family news, Ethan and Angela are going to try to sell their house by themselves. They are getting it ready for an open house this Saturday. Andy has a job at Citgo to get some expense money.
Late Sunday evening, we received word that Susan's grandmother
Rose at passed away at the age of 97. We will be going to the funeral on Wednesday in Sault Ste Marie.
