James Stuart Johnson was baptized on his 8th birthday by his father, Bishop Stuart Johnson at the Johnson Beach in Lake Superior.
Before the act with the eager missionaries. Ready, set... The rescue. Anyone wonder why the baptism rate is so low in the Marquette Ward, especially in the winter?
Wait, does this mean your building doesn't have a font? I hear Lake Superior is cold year round. It was cold in Grand Marais when I was there last summer.
Well, we made it to Social Security and retirement from the Boy Scouts. We'll focus on grandparenting and I'll help the Boy Scouts with their transition. We're blessed to have 4 of the 5 kids settled in Marquette and 9 of the 15 grandkids.

Wow-- what a time to remember! Congratulations, James. We're proud of you.
